Village Background
Yelachammanahalli is one among the six villages selected for development under the UBA program. It is located in Hoskote Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District, falls within Doddanallala Gram Panchayat and is 41 km from the District headquarters and 14 km away from the Taluk headquarters. The village has 48 households with a population of 237, where the sex ratio is 1043 females per 1000 males. The men population is 116 and 121 is the women population. Majority of the families in the village fall under the Below the Poverty Line (BPL) category. The literacy rate of the village is 51.90%. Major agricultural produce is ragi.
