Doddathaggali

Village Background

Doddathaggali is one among the six villages selected for development under the UBA program. It is located in Hoskote Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District, falls within Orohalli Gram Panchayat and is 40 km from the District headquarters and 14 km away from the Taluk headquarters. The village has 98 households with a population of 446, where the sex ratio is 991 females per 1000 males. The men population is 224 and 222 is the women population. Majority of the families in the village fall under the Below the Poverty Line (BPL) category. The literacy rate of the village is 62.56%. Major agricultural produce is carrot and ragi. Most of the village people are daily wage earners and animal husbandry is too prevalent in the village. Click here to view more
