The University strives to reach out to the star of perfection through an earnest academic pursuit for ‘excellence,’ and its efforts are directed to blossom into ‘service’ through creative and empathetic involvement in the society to transform it sustainably.
It is widely accepted that Education prepares one to face the challenges of life by bringing out the best in him/her and hence it should be relevant to the needs of the time and address the problems of the day. Inspired by Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate who was a pioneer in innovative education and who was well versed in using education for development, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) proactively redefined its mission and core values in accordance with the signs of the time.
